How to get single note melody out of any tunes: an idea

When I learned that there is a popular method of ear training called 'interval ear training,' I was rushed to play it, but didn't have much success. Then I got an idea from a specific source: 'GNU Solfege'.

The idea is:-

1. Get the first note right, that is, the absolute pitch. You can get it right by comparing with your modal singing voice. In male, you could sing Do-Re-Mi-Fa-Sol-La-Ti-Do, starting from G, so it would be - G A B C D E F# G. In female, it would be C D E F G A B C. As a matter of fact, I think it is harder for males to sing C D E F G A B C if you are not a singer.
2. Learn the melodic interval, both ascending and descending, for minor second, major second, minor third, major third, fourth, perfect fifth, minor sixth, major sixth, and probably some other intervals. Only consider the melodic type intervals. Don't really think too much about some interval such as major seventh. which is probably rare.
3. Get the interval right between each notes of your tune. It is best to simply forget the absolute pitch as it will interfere with getting the interval right, and bias your thinking towards the wrong note.
4. Check your notes with the major scale, chords, and modes.

I am still testing my idea, though, but I hope this will point the readers towards the success. GL!

Review hp Pavillion x2 (10-inch)

หลังจากที่ซื้อมาใช้แล้วประมาณ 1 สัปดาห์ พบว่ามันเป็น tablet มากกว่าเป็น notebook ครับ เรียกว่ามันทำงานเป็น notebook ได้ด้วยดีกว่า ด้วยน้ำหนักหน้าจอแค่ 600 กรัม และถอดออกมาจาก keyboard ได้อย่างง่ายดาย มี usb port ขนาดเต็มไว้ให้ใช้ด้วย และอยู่ในส่วนของหน้าจอ

ข้อเสียที่ว่าซื้อแล้วเสียดาย...

1. hybrid tablet RAM 4-8 GB, core i5-i7 น้ำหนัก 1.1-1.2 kg ก็หาซื้อได้ครับ แต่ราคาแพง แล้วก็ design อาจจะไม่สะดวกเท่านี้
2. tablet windows 8 ขนาด 7 นิ้ว ราคาแค่ราว 3000-5000 แต่มันจะไม่มี keyboard

ข้อดีที่โดดเด่น

1. หน้าจอถอดง่ายมาก น่าจะง่ายกว่า ASUS T100 และ Miix 3 และหน้าจอก็มีน้ำหนักเบามากๆ แค่ 600 กรัม
2. ส่วนประกอบทุกอย่างอยู่กับหน้าจอ และที่ keyboard ไม่มีอะไร ที่โดดเด่นคือ มี usb port ขนาดเต็มที่หน้าจอ ทำให้สามารถต่อกับ external harddisk ได้โดยไม่ต้องพึ่ง keyboard (ดีกว่า ASUS T100)
3. แผ่นแม่เหล็กที่ติดอยู่กับ keyboard เป็นตัวช่วยป้องกัน keyboard เวลาเก็บ keybard แยกใส่กระเป๋า และทำให้สามารถเก็บหน้าจอและ keyboard ใส่กระเป๋าแยกกันได้อย่างปลอดภัย ไม่ต้องนำมาประกอบกัน

ข้อเสียเชิงคุณภาพ

1. ลำโพงที่อยู๋ 2 ข้างของหน้าจอเป็นรอยตั้งแต่วันแรกที่ซื้อมา เป็นรอยง่ายมาก น่าจะทำจากพลาสติกอ่อน
2. ตั้งแต่ซื้อมาก ทำคอมค้างต้อง reset ไปราว 5-6 รอบแล้ว เกิดจากใช้งานมันหนักเกินไป

ข้อติดขัด

1. พยายามลง android ก็ใช้ได้นะ เฉพาะใน virtualbox (ตอนนี้ทำ fullscreen, share file, load app, multitouch เล่นเน็ต ได้แล้ว ถ้าสนใจสอบถามได้) แต่ช้าและกระตุกบ้าง (allocate RAM ไว้ 768 MB) ส่วน Bluestacks, Genymotion, Windroy ช้ามาก load ไม่สำเร็จ

สิ่งที่อาจจะเป็นปัญหาในอนาคต

1. ข้อต่อระหว่างหน้าจอและ keyboard ถอดได้ง่าย ก็อาจจะพังง่าย? รึเปล่า

สิ่งที่เขาว่าน่าจะทำได้ แต่ยังไม่ได้ลอง

1. ถ้ายึดตาม ASUS T100 นะ photoshop กับ video editing (Intel Bay Trail) น่าจะทำได้ แต่เขาว่า ASUS T100 performance ดีกว่านิดนึง แต่ Pavillion x2 หน้าจอจะสีสวยสดกว่า

สรุป bottom line

- ถ้าอยากได้ tablet ที่เป็น netbook น้ำหนักเบา มี port usb ราคาไม่แพง ตัวนี้ก็แนะนำครับ (ไม่แพงตัวอื่น T100; T300, iconia w511 ก็น่าสนใจ) แต่ถ้าต้องการ ultrabook หรือมีงบประมาณก็แนะนำตัวเลือกที่ราคาแพงกว่า อย่าง Microsoft Surface Pro 3 ครับ ตัวเลือกอื่นก็อย่างเช่น Dell Venue 11 Pro หรือ ของ sony (รุ่น vaio duo 11 มั้ง จำไม่ได้) ครับ

- Sony vaio duo 11 ดู decent spec นะ core i7 RAM 8GB  model sliding อะ ชอบมากกว่า surface pro อีก

วันหลังคงต้องเลือก RAM 4 GB, Core i3-i5 เป็นขั้นต่ำมั้งครับผม

Surface Pro ก็พอเข้าเกณฑ์อยู่นะ เพราะมี spec ให้เลือก รุ่นอื่นนึกไม่ค่อยออกอะ vaio duo นี่ก็ ok เพราะเป็น i7 ส่วน Dell Venue นี่เป็น Atom ครับ spec อาจจะต่ำไปหน่อย ราคาคงต้องเตรียมเงินอย่างน้อยซัก 40,000
